HISTORY
the beginnings

Since 1990, when Tere and José María first opened the Áncora Restaurant in Calafell and later the Ancora 2 Restaurant in San Salvador, our family has worked year after year to maintain a line of commitment and respect for our customers.

A job that began by the sea, where some fishermen from Calafell, like Peret, taught Tere their secrets of seafood cuisine, of care and respect for the raw material and the demanding results of the dishes.

The passion

A lot of effort and determination to improve and adapt all that cooking tradition to the new times. And how lucky we have been to be recognized for all these years by our clients and friends.

Tere and José María have managed the Ancora 2 Restaurant in San Salvador for many years and now it's time to pass the baton on to the next generation.


THE WITNESS

And now it is the new generation led by their daughters Mamen and Ester, with the invaluable help of Pepe and Josep, who pick up the family witness to continue a new path without leaving aside all the previous baggage.

With the intention of maintaining and improving our cuisine and customer service, we have decided to change the new of our restaurant, to clearly differentiate ourselves and start our own path.
